The KQ Workspace is a dedicated, free-roam environment providing hardware-isolated AWS infrastructure for your quantitative pods. Kopie Quant handles the seamless cloud orchestration, allowing your firm to run custom models, experimental workloads, and ML training on instances physically restricted via Zero-Trust IAM roles—guaranteeing zero cross-contamination.
Overflow Jobs
For massive computational bursts, Kopie Quant utilizes AWS Batch to dynamically dispatch overflow workloads. When your dedicated instances are at capacity, our Serverless Compute Orchestrator seamlessly routes parallel backtests and hyperparameter sweeps into pre-configured Spot Instance queues, automatically tracking execution time for transparent billing. Firm administrators can configure their preferred overflow instance types directly within the Enterprise Portal.

How Does Billing Work?
Kopie Quant absorbs the first $500 of your dedicated cloud compute each month. Any unused balance from this $500 allocation is automatically applied toward Compute Tokens for your elastic workloads. For the underlying EC2 instances you provision (both CPU Engines and GPU Workspaces), we pass the raw AWS hardware costs directly to your firm with a transparent 5% orchestration upcharge. This single premium covers the automated lifecycle management, zero-trust IAM provisioning, and VPC networking handled by our infrastructure layer.
Compute Tokens are the universal currency for all elastic platform usage, including storage, AWS Batch overflow job processing, data egress, API rate limits, and ingestion volume. We operate with zero bulk discounts: $100 = 50 Tokens, and $500 = 250 Tokens.
Exchange Rate Note: One compute token equates to $1 of underlying AWS expenditure. For every dollar spent on elastic AWS resources, we charge a strict 2x multiplier for our fully-managed orchestration. By contrast, industry-standard Platform-as-a-Service (PaaS) providers routinely charge 3x to 10x markups for similar managed orchestration, making our elastic pricing highly competitive for institutional-grade infrastructure.
